Tallow - Whipped Balm made with 100 Percent Grass Fed/finished Beef Tallow and infused with our cult classic Ms. Laundy's Oil Available in Classic Ms. Laundy or Lavender Essential Oil This whip smells like our fan-fav Ms. Laundys which is rich in Frankincense, Lavender, Rosehip oil, Calendula and Neroli, among a few secret oils. Our Tallow is sourced from a wonderful Etsy shop sourced from local farmers in the Midwest United States, triple strained to assure it is pure, rendered slow at low heats to retain the minerals/nutrients in the fat (why you are using a whipped Tallow)! We use organic Argan oil and only the finest essential oils for our house made Ms. Laundys Skin Oil. Tallow has been used for centuries from everything from candles to a cooking oil. One of the best uses for it has been skin and hair care. It is completely natural, nearly bio-identical to sebum (natural human skin oil) and full of CLA, when sourced from grass fed and finished cows (ours is). On that topic, Tallow is certainly NOT VEGAN so if you are vegan, this product is not for you. It should be noted though that Tallow is a bi-product of the cattle industry and a wonderful way to use a part of the cow that is typically discarded. No animals are harvested for tallow as there is a very minimal amount in each animal. Although Tallow products are loved for their hypo-allergenic properties, there is very minimal chances of an allergic reaction, it's never zero with any product. Always test any new skin care product on the inside of your arm before using. ALLERGEN WARNING- CONTAINS NUTS, ESSENTIAL OILS AND ANIMAL PRODUCTS. The Skin-Loving 100 % Natural fatty acid content of pure tallow is: Saturated fatty acids: Palmitic acid (C16:0): 26% - Stearic acid (C18:0): 14% Myristic acid (C14:0): 3% Monounsaturated fatty acids: Oleic acid (C18-1, ω-9): 47% Palmitoleic acid (C16:1): 3% Polyunsaturated fatty acids: Linoleic acid: 3% Linolenic acid: 1% Grass-fed tallow contains conjugated linoleic acid or CLA, in other words, it's great for your skin! It's nearly bio-identical to natural human sebum (the sticky oily substance the body produces in order to keep the skin moisturized. It's made up of a collection of fat molecules, waxes, and squalene). Our Tallow Whip is shelf stable for 1 year, but benefits from refrigeration or freezing and can remain stable for up to 5 years when frozen. USE: Apply onto clean, damp skin in the morning and/or evenings for a nourished and moisturized complexion. As with any new skin care product, build it into your skincare routine over a week or two to give the skin time to adapt to a new regimen. Use it a few times the first week before moving to daily use. *Offered in 2 oz or 8 oz Ember colored glass jars with metal lids to keep this product zero plastic, zero water, zero single use. This is a whipped product, filled by volume, not weight so the jars are 8 ounce and 2 ounce, not the product. We typically get about half the volume in weighted product in the jars. Our large jars average 3.5-4 ounces and the small jars average 1.5 - 2 ounces. There is no difference in the product, just the size. I suggest starting with the smaller size to try if you have never used this product or if you are limiting it to use on your face/neck. If you want the all over body experience, the larger size is for you. Please disregard the weight amounts on the printed labels. I missed the edit and the volume on the large jar is the same as the small jar (my fault, not my awesome print dude).
